I run a 'real world' shop alongside this site - there has been a Needlecraft shop in Penrith (Cumbria) for many, many years that has recently been forced to close. See our location page for how to find us.

As I had been lucky enough to have worked there it didn't take long for our customers to persuade me through various means to open up the shop again. Although no longer in the same town, I'm hoping that my shop will provide the needlecraft community in this area with the same quality items they have become used to.

I have introduced some new items but the usual stock and suppliers are still available. I feel it is very important to keep this shop going as not only a source of supply but also to encourage the younger generation to 'try something new' and keep this craft alive in this area.

While working in the shop I learned about many more kinds of stitch/needlecrafts – I hope to be able to bring some of those to this site over the next few months.

Living and working as I do, within sight of the Lake District I am developing my own range of cross stitch charts and kits of the Lakes and Mountains.

I will also be donating part of the profits from this range to the Great North Air Ambulance which plays a vital role to locals and tourists alike in this area. I also donate money to a local animal rescue charity from my own range of animal orientated charts and kits.

So I hope we have everything you need and even if you like to just sew please contact us if there's anything you'd like us to stock.

Please note: This is a new site and will be updated on a daily basis (when time allows) and the stock will constantly be added to.

Environment

I recycle as much packaging and wrapping as possible so you will most likely recieve your parcel in pre-used packaging.
