I taught myself to cross stitch at the age of 14 and tapestry came into my life at the age of 20 something.
I have just recently taught myself enough embroidery stitches to complete a babies jacket that my mother started when she was pregnant with me in the 60's! Unfortunately I didn't get it done in time for my own daughter's birth but it just goes to show you are never too old to learn something new.
